From number to quote in three moves.
- 03.1
Search the number
Paste the number from the nameplate or the old order. Dashes and spaces don’t matter.
- 03.2
Compare offers
Condition, ships-from country, stock, lead time and price in one table. A hidden price says “on request”, never a guess.
- 03.3
Send one RFQ
One request goes to the suppliers who stock or can source the part. Quotes arrive by email and in your account. No fee, no commission.
Put your shelves in front of people searching by part number.
- Upload a CSV or connect a feed. Each row is matched to the manufacturer part number.
- You pay for the number of listings. Never a share of the deal.
- RFQs arrive with part number, quantity and acceptable conditions already filled in.

What Sparehawk does and does not do, without footnotes.
- What Sparehawk is
- A marketplace. We don’t sell parts and hold no stock.
- Cost for buyers
- Nothing. Searching, sending RFQs and comparing quotes are free.
- Commission on deals
- None. Suppliers pay for their listings; a small catalogue stays free.
- Who you pay
- The supplier, directly, on the terms you agree with them.
- “Verified”
- Shown only after a supplier passes our company check.
- Condition
- New OEM, new surplus, refurbished or used — stated on every offer.
- Your contact details
- Only the supplier whose quote you pick gets them. Until then no supplier sees your email address.
- Stock and prices
- Every offer shows when it was last updated. The price is confirmed in the quote.

- How to find a replacement for an obsolete industrial partWhere manufacturers publish lifecycle status and successors, how to tell whether a successor really fits, and what to do when it does not.
- Obsolescence management for industrial sparesHow to find out what is going obsolete in your plant, decide what to buy now, and stop paying antique prices for a relay in year six.
